Gudrun von Nida

My Tante Gudrun was a remarkable woman. I had not seen her for sixty years, when I made the decision to visit her in 2001. I live in California and my German is attrocious, but my aunt's English was extremely good! Between the two of us, I was able to piece together a story so remarkable of my aunt's life, I was, and still am, in awe. The decisions she made, the effects of which touched so many lives, are inspiring. I am so grateful that I met her again, and stayed in touch. I am proud that my Tante Gudrun was my aunt, and that I accidentally was part of her life. I love you, Tante Gudrun. May you rest in peace and enjoy a truly boisterous reunion.
